May 21: 8th Grade/New Band Student Picnic and Informational Meeting. 6:30 PM
May 22: Graduation, Call Time 6:15. Attire to be determined.
May 26: Memorial Day Parade. Call Time 11 AM, Marching Uniform.

2008-9 Marching Band Season

Band Camp Update:  Band camp fees: Payments of $105 will be due on May 21st,
June 26th , and July 23rd. The band Camp booklet has been mailed to your homes!

 We are already gearing up for the 2008-9 Marching Band Season! Check back here regularly             for updates!  Pre-Band Camp will be held Monday, July 21st-Thursday, July 24th from 6-9 PM             at the High School. Attendance is Mandatory!  Band Camp will be held at  Lincoln Lake Camp             in Gowen again this year. We will leave CHS around noon on Sunday, July 27th and return          Friday, August 1st, sometime in the afternoon. More information will be coming on Marching       Band fees and new freshman registration.

 

 

 

Ways to keep informed

How can you be sure you know the very latest happenings of the band? It is amazing how quickly events come up and details change…especially during Marching and Competition season. We all know that students don’t always remember to tell us those important, last minute details…

-Attend Booster meetings, the second Monday of each month from 7-8 PM in the lower forum room.  Meetings begin and end on time, to save you time!

-Sign up for email. Late breaking news is delivered by email.  By early September we will send out an email welcome to all addresses on file. If you do not hear from us, feel free to email us at chsbands@hotmail.com and add your address to our list. This email is checked very regularly.

-Check the website often. Go to caledoniaband.com for our calendar, maps to events, news, pictures, and forms. Make us your homepage!

-Share your talents with our kids! What a great way to really get to know our awesome students and to experience Band through their eyes! You will also make lasting friendships with the kids and their parents!
